-------- Here is Americas' South of the broader brother, Mexico (i.e in Hetalia style) for the story "The Fifty Children of America" I hope you guys like him. I had lots of fun making Mexico in different situations. and I think he represents the country with great pride
also Please tell me, if you live in this country, what you think of him and if he truly represents your country with pride as well
Mexico a.k.a. José Juan Birthday:September 27, 1821 (date when it became an independent nation, but was there though the Aztec times) Gender: Male Age: 19 Looks: He's tan like P.R., and he kind of looks like Spain, America and a little bit of Romano with an Hispanic flair. he wears a WW2/revolutionary time type style. he likes to carry a gun and a machete knife (you'll never know when you'll need one ) oh and has a arm band tattoo on his left arm and an eagle with the snake on his left shoulder blade
Description: he's P.R. God Father, along with Alfred he helps out taking care of the kids. according to the kids, he is the best babysitter and trust him enough to ask for advise or help with things. He loves to go out drinking with Russia even though, like everyone else, he gets nervous around him. with China they both are world leading production makers for America, so there is a little competitive atmosphere around them, but they are pretty good friends
Waa... =/ but... ¿Him whit beard and mustache?, I don´t know if I right but I thing that the Hetalia´s aging system was based in the developent (1rt world, third world, how many tecnologies it had, his wealt for "grow"... his maturity in one way) and the facial hair comes when his political/economical system be some "obsolete and/or weak for the age, making more weak with more time" (Grandpa Rome grow so much and him disapear), but for keep the character desing the age signs had a limit, I think that (of course whit constructive criticism), I hope not had been inopportune... grettings n_n
Yes, you have a point and for that I thank you for the constructive criticism. But I took those into consideration before I made him. My reasons are:
1. For his age instead of placing his “birth” as Mexico or New Spain, I placed it as Mexica of the year 1200. 100 years after the coming of The Aztecs (1100)(and The Aztecs is his mom). So Mexico would be 238 years younger than Holy Roman Empire (962) and 325 years older than Prussia (1525).
2. for the beard and mustache, yes he might not be the most develop like his brothers America and Canada now, but do remember as Mexica before the Spaniards came was rich with lots of gold, natural resources, and land and as New Spain (along with Peru coming in second) was the most developed and richest Spaniard colony of his time.
3. and I also took into consideration, that even though they’re countries, they are still in human form, meaning their bodies should be somewhat similar to the everyday growth of a man and the trends of the country at the time (i.e. like change of clothes and hair style, like what England did once when he wanted to have long hair like France) if you ever read H by Kaiten- Mokugyo/ Makimura Maki (a Hetalia Doushinji but warning it’s soft Yaoi) shows that America grew a beard, since he is a dude, and towards the end he shaved it off. So I would believe that the same principles also goes to Mexico only that he decided to keep the beard and mustache than shaving it off. And think about it, France (600 B.C.) and England (937 AD) are close in age but France grew a beard (I think so that people would stop mistaking him for a girl like Spain and Prussia did for a long time. did you see him when he was younger? he wore a toga that looks like a dress and he looks like a really pretty girl Ex: [link]) as England has no hair anywhere on his body (he’s as smooth as a new born babe)
And so those are some of my reasons why he is as he is with mustache and all XD
